Texas A&M Gets Approval for New Electrical Engineering Program

Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, recently announced approval of its second engineering program, specifically electrical engineering, in a press release. The program will include initiatives to ensure high completion rates and success for community college transfer students, and to recruit Texas students into the program. The university is interested in enrolling its first electrical engineering class in fall 2015, pending further approvals.

Corpus Christi’s engineering school currently only offers electrical engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, and mechanical engineering.
