The National Science Foundation and the journal Science have created the International Science and Engineering Visualization Challenge to illustrate science’s most powerful statements. Winners will be selected in: photography, illustration, posters and graphics, games and apps, and video. The competition is not limited to students and participants may submit entries in either groups or teams. The winning entries will appear in Science and will be hosted at ScienceMag.org and NSF.gov.
The purpose of the International Science and Engineering Visualization Challenge is to recognize and communicate science visualization for educational and journalistic purposes. Entries will be judged based on visual impact, effective communication, and freshness and originality. Participants are encouraged to register now. The competition closes on Sept. 30, 2013. If you have any questions, please contact NSF at firstname.lastname@example.org.
