Mozilla and the National Science Foundation are hosting an open innovation challenge with the goal of showing how next-generation networks can revolutionize healthcare, education, public safety, energy, and more. Participants win funding and support to make their apps a reality. $485,000 in prizes are available across three rounds.
This contest is part of the U.S. Ignite initiative, which promotes U.S. leadership in developing applications and services for ultra-fast broadband and software-defined networks. It is designed to foster the creation of novel applications and digital experiences that will transform healthcare, education, and job skills training; public safety; energy; and advanced manufacturing.
